Our History

 

The Roland James Allen Evangelical Association, doing business as the New Covenant Church was officially established on February 27, 1970 in the State of Texas. This corporation is a non-profit, non-denomination organization.

The New Covenant Church is located approximately 18 miles east of Austin, Texas in the county of Bastrop. It was established for the purpose of propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the ordination of Ministers to preach the Gospel at times and places as the Holy Spirit dictates.

The Founder of the New Covenant Church is the late Bishop Roland James Allen. Upon the passing of our founder the was then under the leadership of Bishop John H. Sorrells Sr.

This ministry has blossomed from approximately twenty members to well over three hundred while still maintaining its’ loving, family appeal. The New Covenant Church currently under the Administration of Bishop and Pastor Eddie E. Willis, Sr. who also oversees two established New Covenant Churched in Punta Gorda, Belize in Central America.


The New Covenant Church was founded on the principles of God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ as our Savior. It is our sole purpose to reach those who need to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In achieving our goals the Lord has allowed us to establish a diverse ministry that loves all nations. Several church ministries have been established and are governed by our Pastor in helping to spread God's Love and Salvation to the lost as well as giving comfort to down trodden and bewildered. There is hope in believing and excepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
