Associate Minister Charles E. Banks Sr., a native of Independence, Louisiana is married to LaVerne Banks. They have four children and twelve grandchildren.

He professed Christ on November 28, 1971 at the age of 18. Throughout his walk with Christ, Brother Banks held the position as Head of the Deacon Board for over 12 years. He also serves as Vice President and Treasurer on the Board of Trustees of the Roland James Allen Evangelical Association.

Brother Banks was called into the ministry in 1997.

His participation in missionary endeavors has included:

Various towns in Texas, Central America, Arizona and Oklahoma Indian Reservations, Virginia, Florida, Louisiana and Canada.

Most recently in 2003, Brother Banks traveled to Guatemala City, Guatemala and Punta Gorda, Belize Central America to help spread the gospel and show the love of Christ.

Brother Banks' vision for the ministry is to "Help keep the work of God moving."
